Do your doors comply with Australian Standards?
Yes, Aust Doors Co products are manufactured in accordance with AS1288 and AS2047.
What materials do you use to manufacture your doors?
Aust Doors Co products are fabricated out of 6-gauge solid aluminium sections, making our doors extremely strong and durable.
What Glass do you use?
Aust Doors Co doors are glazed with ‘A’ grade safety glass- either laminated glass or toughened (tempered) glass.
Do your doors come with warranty?
Yes, please refer to our warranty guarantee.
How do I install my new Aust Doors Co door?
We recommend engaging a carpenter to assist with installation.
What hardware comes with your doors?
Each Aust Doors Co door comes with:
- 3x black fast fix hinges *Hinges are provided loose from door, to be fitted by customer.
- 10x hinge fixing screws
- 1x door lever handle set *Handles are provided loose from door, to be fitted by customer.
- door latch (passage and privacy set doors) or mortice lock and key cylinder (entrance set doors only) *door latch/mortice lock comes fitted within door lock block.
*Doors are glazed, ready for installation upon delivery.
What type of finish is included on the door?
Aust Doors Co provide an external grade powder coat finish to our doors, applied by an Australian certified powder coat provider. The finish is Matt Black, Texture Coat.
What are your lead times?
Aust Doors Co aim to maintain stock levels of each product to ensure each product is ready to ship, however if a product is out of stock, we advise a 4-week lead time.
How heavy are your doors?
Each 2040x820mm door weighs approximately 35kg.
Where are your doors manufactured?
Aust Doors Co products are manufactured in Australia. Our factory is based in the Illawarra region of NSW. Each door has been designed and handcrafted in-house and is exclusive to Aust Doors Co. Our team is made up of skilled and qualified trades people.
